SERNIS supplies smart road studs for new EU cycle-path project

SERNIS has supplied its SR-i20 intelligent solar road studs for a new 12-kilometre cross-border cycle path, improving night-time visibility and rider safety along the route.

The deployment uses recessed, IP68-rated units with synchronised flashing at junctions. Each stud is visible up to 900 m and withstands 20 tonnes of compression, making it suitable for shared vehicle/cycle zones.
